By accessing The Republic Ledger, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please close the tab. We will not chase you.

2. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the rate disclosed at purchase until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in your account settings. Refunds are issued at our discretion and, where required, by law.

3. Acceptable use

You may read, share links and quote brief passages with attribution. You may not scrape, republish or resell our content, or use it to train a model that writes like us without saying so.

4. User content

Comments are available to subscribers. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your comment. You retain ownership. We may remove comments that are abusive, illegal or simply very long.

5. Satire

The Republic Ledger is a satirical publication. Its reporting, quotations, institutions and people are invented. Nothing here should be relied upon as fact.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
