SAN FRANCISCO — Executives at the logistics startup Palletise told employees this week that the company’s disruption had reached them, and that they should expect it to continue.
“We are disrupting the way people work, and that includes the way you work,” chief executive Maya Rios said in an all-hands meeting. “Frankly, it would be strange if it didn’t.”
The company’s four-day workweek pilot, announced in June as a disruption of the five-day workweek, was discontinued on Monday as part of a new initiative to disrupt the four-day workweek.
Employees were told the changes would be “iterated on,” a process the company describes on its careers page as “fast-paced, ambiguous and occasionally reversing itself.”
