Careers
We hire slowly and keep people for a long time.
The Republic Ledger employs 410 journalists and 180 people in product, engineering, advertising and operations. We are based in Washington with bureaus in New York, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and nine foreign cities.
Open roles
Currently hiring: a deputy health editor, a graphics reporter, a staff writer for The Culture Desk, and an engineer for our reading experience team.
We do not use AI to write our journalism. We do use it to transcribe, search and summarise documents, under editor supervision.
To apply, send a note and three clips to jobs@therepublicledger.com.
